@TIME, Why Is Poop On The #Cilantro?

cilantroI love how a prestigious magazine like TIME used the word poop in a headline. In all seriousness if you like cilantro, you need to know the business at hand. The FDA has issued a ban on the import of cilantro from certain regions in Mexico. The ban was issued after human feces and toilet paper were found near fields growing cilantro for import to the US. The band will be lifted on August 31, 2015. In hindsight, the band was enacted in April of this year. Don’t be too heartbroken if you must lead the cilantro out of your guacamole. Until this all blows over, avocado hummus is a crowd-pleaser.

These are my thoughts on the headlines. Subscribe to Allie’s Voice to get the weekend edition and interact with me on Twitter. Follow and tweet me @AlliesVoice.
