Where #Happiness Lives in the #Brain

happinessDepression and happiness are polar opposites. Until now, there’s been no quantifiable way to measure either emotion. A new study says that now we can identify where happiness exists in the brain. Researchers found where “happy” lives in the brain. The wonderful little sliver of the brain called the precuneous beholds happy. Of the participants in the study, those who were able to experience a more intense happiness and were able to find meaning in life had a larger precuneous than those who weren’t so vivacious. So what can we do to enhance our happy in the brain? Here are 8 Ways to Exercise Your Brain, precuneous included.
