Cholesterol in #Food Hardly Affects Blood #Cholesterol

cholesterolFor crying out loud. Please give the egg yolks a break, no pun intended. More specifically, a study shows that eating high cholesterol foods does not increase the risk of heart disease. Researchers explain that dietary cholesterol does not translate into blood cholesterol. Phew. Like my grandmother says, I like eggs. Heart disease is a dubious distinction bestowed on insulin, not your love of cheeseburgers. Insulin doesn’t do the heavy lifting when digesting meat. The bun and fries hold some blame in that department.
