#SugarKills Gets Attention: Good, Bad, and Ugly

sugarkillsEverybody know sugar is sweet but when it accumulates in your blood, it turns ugly. Just how ugly elevated sugar gets is unsightly, which is why the picture campaign “Sugar Kills” gets people talking. High blood glucose is a not in my backyard (NIMBY) problem. But the thing is your backyard is whatever you cannot see. Damage to your kidneys, heart, and peripheral limbs can fester till failure. But when you have an open wound or a rampant skin infection that won’t heal – people take notice. Good job making a provocative point, Diabetes Association of Thailand.
