Is #Facebook #Depression a Thing?

socialmediaworkIf you’re reading this post, chances are you’re on social media somewhere. Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any number of social media platforms – a new study questions whether or not the virtual ‘social portals’ breed depression. The conclusion falls short of pointing  a finger at social media for causing the depression or just exacerbating people who are depressed in the first place. For what it’s worth, other workplaces contend that social media enhances productivity and gives people a lift in their mood. So it really seems to fall on a case-by-case basis.
