Short Answer for #Diabetes Control?

dia-controlSome people with diabetes will come after you with flames and pitchforks if you try to sell them on the phrase “diabetes control”. Goal #1 is prevention but the same steps to prevent diabetes are the ones you take once you have it. Funny how that works. Diabetes management is more apropos, considering you win-some and lose-some. It’s never a consistent journey. Nevertheless, balance of nutrients, “management of blood glucose levels, and physical activity is a trifecta of stability. The body needs carbohydrates the same way it needs protein and fat. Keeping bG balanced ensures that blood never gets too sticky to deliver nutrients to any part of the body. What living organism thrives on hibernation? Exactly. That’s the short answer for diabetes management, give or take medication for some of us diabetic types.
