Is Your #UV Resistance #Gene Turned-Up?

UVganeYay genetics!! Breaking news – we have a gene for protection from damaging UV rays of the sun. We all have a gene inside of us that emits some degree of protection from damaging ultraviolet rays. Researchers found that people who have hire expression of this gene are less likely to die of melanoma, the type of skin cancer that kills 10,000 people each year. So how can we turn this gene up? That’s the forward-thinking result of this study and we’ll eventually know the answer. Every day I have a greater level of appreciation for people who have dedicated their lives to understanding our genes and how they can be used to improve life.
