Robots #MindReading to Correct #Mistakes

mindreadingHow amazing would it be if robots could read your mind to fix all the problems in the world? Well it’s not quite that comprehensive yet but it’s a good start. A robot named Baxter is able to read your mind to self-correct. The brain behind Baxter is actually yours with electrodes connected. Baxter response based on satisfaction or displeasure picked-up by the electrodes. This is a prototype of a robot that will someday be used for industrial tasks. It really would be so helpful if something like this could be developed more discreetly for people in every day society. In the age of technology and angry birds flying everywhere in our world, mind reading could be an asset to survival. I’m already brainstorming for names like ‘Thinking Cap’ or ‘Intuition Extension’. My puns are killing it.
