@Walmart Frozen Pizza #Recall

walmartUsually recall headlines don’t grab my attention but after the infectious disease docs warned me that I’d be a goner if I got listeria, here I stand on my soapbox. The reason listeria is so dangerous to me is because I have diabetes and I’m immunosuppressed because of my kidney transplant in May 2020. Thanks for doing me a solid, mom! For the rest of the country, listeria can result in a fever, stomach pains, and diarrhea. For some, it can cause a house of pain. Those people include, but are not limited to, pregnant women, elderly, and anybody else who’s a few soldiers short of a full blown immune system. That being said, Walmart’s distributor of frozen pizza has issued a recall for possible listeria contamination. The 16-inch pizza made by RBR Meat Co. is sold as “Marketside Extra Large Supreme Pizza” with lot code 20547. If your heart was set on pizza, everybody lives near a Domino’s. You’re welcome.
