Here we go again. The ‘friendly skies’ are not so friendly, these days. Remember that leggings incident last month with United? As much as I hope this is a PR stunt, this is over-the-top atrocious of United just to make headlines. This time, there’s cell phone footage and it’s not pretty. Recap: United airlines was trying to get 4-seats in a full plane for crew that needed to be in another airport. The first 3 people selected at random went quietly with their vouchers. The 4th passenger wasn’t having it. The man is a pediatrician who was scheduled back in the hospital Monday. United took it upon themselves to drag the doctor off the flight, kicking and screaming. By the time it was over, he was bloody in the face. Really United. Was this necessary? Remember when Continental became part of United? Well rumor has it that former Continental employees who became United employees now refer to themselves as “ex Cons”, rather than claiming United as their parent company. Classic. Wall Street doesn’t like it, either.
