#MirenaFail Seen Round the Internet

MirenaFailAccidents happen. As luck would have it, this accident happened resulting from an IUD slip. The social media viral post of a newborn baby clutching the mother’s IUD was tagged #MirenaFail. Yes, sometimes the initial incorrect placement or the migration of the IUD can result in a pregnancy.  Women who opt for an IUD are choosing a reversible form of birth control. In no way does this excuse the failure of an IUD. It just explains the surprise of giving birth when a woman expects that her IUD is working as it should. Everything that happens there after is the reason why said pic goes viral.
