Living to the age of 90 is impressive if a majority of those years are healthy ones. Nowadays people live longer but their quality of life is substandard. Exercise is proving to be the activity that can be a game-changer.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find anybody who says exercising is bad for your health. But a new study showing that short burst of exercise improve your quality of health for the long-haul.
How much exercise is the beneficial amount? The magic number is 20-minutes. Or stand-up a few times throughout your work day.
Contrary to what the US guidelines told us in 2008, the 150-minutes of weekly exercise in increments no shorter than 10-minutes is malarkey according to this new evidence. Phew.Like Nike says: just do it!
