Lucid dreaming is one of those things few of us have experienced but those of us who hear about it are amazed. Lucid dreaming is when someone is able to control their dreams.
A new study shows that a type of drug me actually significantly increase the number of people who can experience this phenomenon. This medicatione is shown to increase the likelihood of lucid dreaming up to 42%.
This medication is shown to increase a persons ability to recall certain events. Although the operative skill in lucid dreaming is having control over your mind in a subconscious state, this drug is also shown to increase one’s cognition well fully awake.
Researchers say that 20 to 30% of the population are able to lucid dream. It is debatable as to whether lucid dreaming is an advanced form of survival or an indicator of mental illness. Don’t shoot the messenger.
Honestly, if you covet the ability to dream anything you want and cherry pick the characters and how the events played out – why wouldn’t you? The way I see it, that’s a huge advancement in subconscious control. If they had a drug to enable this type of mind control, where can I get a prescription?
