What #Diet is Best at Burning #Calories?

Dieting is like investing: when you invest your time and effort into something, you want it to continue paying you back in perpetuity. That being said, the experts are weighing-in (no pun, intended) on the best diet to burn calories, even when you’re sleeping. That’s the ticket for success.

The keyword here is carbohydrates, not calories. One group of participants ate a low-carb diet (20% protein, 60% fats, and 20% carbs. Another group of participants ate a high carb diet (20% protein, 20% fat, and 60% carbs). The low-carb ratio is a lot like a Keto Diet or the Paleo Diet.

Nevertheless, the low-carb group burned almost 100-calories a day more than the high carb group. These were calories burned during resting hours. It sounds very similar to the recent finding that eating cottage cheese before bed helps to burn calories in your sleep, right?

Weight loss isn’t easy. If it was a cakewalk, obesity wouldn’t be a thing. However the key may be to eat smarter, not diet harder. If following a Keto Diet or the Paleo Diet proves to be your Sherpa to physical and mental wellness – why are you waiting? Give yourself a gift of everlasting health.
